We are Digital Fingerprints – a Polish company that has created one of the most modern and effective cyber security solutions.
We know that security is not complicated passwords or two-step verification alone – these days, that’s not enough. Cybercriminals are constantly developing their skills and reaching new heights of programming creativity, but the result is that people are being harmed, deprived of their savings, access to their accounts or their right to anonymity.
The overarching goal of Digital Fingerprints is to create a tool to protect every user of critical services. We believe that in a world of exponential growth in computing and processing capabilities, all simple authentication methods – such as passwords – are becoming a thing of the past and will sooner or later be broken or exposed.
Our initial goal was to implement a solution that would provide the highest level of security using at least two of the three components of MFA (something we know, something we have and something we are). This is how we came up with behavioural biometrics – a continuous authentication tool that continuously analyses user behaviour to detect whether an account is being used by the person who is called upon to do so.
Behavioural biometrics is our way of providing an extra layer of security without affecting the way you feel about using the services provided by our partners. We study your behaviour. We store the results in the form of machine learning models and then use them to assess whether it is you or someone else trying to take advantage of your privileges.
The privacy of your behaviour is directly linked to the data we process. We do not and will never collect any data that is perceived as sensitive, i.e. the password you use, the text you write or the services you use. Instead, we obtain information about how you type, how you navigate the service and how you respond. This is how we understand the balance between privacy and the ability to protect users through our service.
As a team, we are guided by shared ethical principles that push us to make this world a better place. We do not use your data for experiments other than to protect your account. We do not sell your data to anyone. Your data is not and will never be used outside of the fingerprints.digital service. We think RODO is a great way to increase customer security. Our aim is to provide a higher level of data protection.
Mbank and ING Bank Śląski, among others. The success of our solution has led to the development of further tools that we now offer to customers – Device Fingerprinting, PureSecure and Behavioural biometrics for mobile devices. Although the operation of each is unique, they all have the same goal – to provide users with the highest possible protection, virtually impossible for hackers to forge, while at the same time not adversely affecting the User Experience and operating in compliance with the principles of RODO.
Just as hackers are constantly developing their skills, we are not indebted to them and are constantly one step ahead. And we are constantly working to ensure that our solutions set trends in the cyber security market in Poland and worldwide.
We believe that data security and privacy are very important values in the digital age. We know that human behaviour can be used as an invisible additional layer of security. As a team, we are united by our work ethic. Our goal is to make this world a better and safer place in cyberspace. We want you to be safe based on how you are. Let’s get to know each other.
